About Kivoo

Kivoo lets African creators sell their digital products from an online store, get paid by Mobile Money and deliver automatically.

Why Kivoo exists

All over Africa, people know how to do things that others want to learn or use: a guide to prepare for an exam, a contract template, photo presets, a filmed course, a simplified bookkeeping method. That knowledge already circulates, in WhatsApp groups, as screenshots, as a Mobile Money transfer between two voice notes. But it sells badly: with no store, no reliable payment and no automatic delivery, every sale takes time, trust and a lot of follow-ups.

Kivoo exists to make that sale simple. An online store ready in minutes, a Mobile Money payment buyers already know, immediate delivery as soon as the payment is confirmed. The creator focuses on what they know how to do; Kivoo takes care of the rest.

Which creators it is for

Kivoo is for people who create something that can be handed over as a file: trainers and teachers, authors, designers, photographers, developers, coaches, consultants, digital craftspeople. People with an audience, small or large, and a skill to share.

We think first of creators based in French-speaking Africa, who earn in CFA francs and whose buyers pay by Mobile Money. Kivoo is built to work from a phone, on connections that are sometimes slow, without a bank card or technical skills.

There is no fixed fee to open a store: Kivoo only earns money when its creators do, through a commission on each paid sale.

What Kivoo refuses to do

A selling tool relies on trust. To earn it, we hold ourselves to a few simple rules.

  • No mandatory subscription and no hidden fees: the commission is displayed, and it is the only amount Kivoo keeps on a sale.
  • No password to remember: you sign in with a code sent by email or with a Google, Facebook or X account.
  • No selling of data: buyers’ email addresses and phone numbers are used to deliver and to get in touch, never handed to third parties.
  • No advertising and no third-party trackers on stores.
  • No illegal, stolen or misleading content: a store that sells what does not belong to it is suspended.
  • No lock-in: creators keep every right to their content and can close their store whenever they want.

Where we want to go

Today, Kivoo sells files. Tomorrow, it will let you sell online courses, licenses and coaching sessions, always with the same promise: a payment buyers know, automatic delivery and a clear commission.

Our vision fits in one sentence: that a person who knows something can make a living from it, wherever they are, with a phone and an idea. Create. Sell. Grow.
